Day Card Access

Thompson Mountain Sportsmen Association offers facilities for shooters who are not club members. Non-members may purchase “Day Cards” which allow them access to our Public Range. A Day Card must be worn in a visible manner upon the person at all times while they are on the TMSA property. Once an individual has purchased a day card they become a member of the TMSA for that day and shall be subject to the same controls as members.

Day Card Users are expected to follow the Range Rules and Procedures, so please read them over carefully before coming to the range. A copy of the rules are also posted on the wall of the Public Range.

The Public Range offers a covered shooting area as well as tables and benches. Range 1 is located near the entrance to the range at the Range Office. On this range, Day Cards users may shoot handguns and rifles; however, there are restrictions on calibres.

We have targets available for sale at the Range Office or shooters can bring their own targets. All non-paper targets must be approved by the Range Warden. Reactive targets are specifically not allowed, so please leave your steel at home.

For liability reasons, all Day Card Users must present their PAL/POL, registration for restricted and prohibited firearms and valid ID.

Daycard rates are as follows:

Per Person$40
Children under 16 (with a paying adult)$5

We accept debit and credit card only for payment.

Before coming up as a Day Card User, please make sure that our facilities are open. Our hours of operation can be found on our home page. Also, please check our regularly updated list of range closures on the home page and calendar page.

You may also want to print out a map of the surrounding area and directions to our range. If you have any further questions, contact us by phone at 778-987-8672 or email us at manager@tmsa.net.
